Description

This beautiful cross is made from repurposed whiskey barrel staves. The wood from these barrels provides gorgeous wood grain and makes for a beautiful, finished product.  These crosses measure 35 inches tall by 24.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep.  Once the stave pieces are cut and sanded, they get a dark walnut stain applied. We then finish the pieces with multiple coats of matte polyurethane. The backs of the crosses are clear coated to keep the char character but minimize the mess it leaves. The two individual staves are affixed with heavy duty screws.  Large crosses with hoops have small hoop pieces from the barrel added for accents on the cross.  We also place a hanger on the back for easy hanging on your wall.
